Assignment Title: Perceptions on How Healthy Eating is Defined among Diverse Households
What I learned: In this assignment I learned how to conduct a qualitative research using in depth interviews, and the evidence analysis library, while analyzing the perceptions and meanings that people use to interpret and construct their understanding of the world. I also learned how to use field notes and edge coding to develop a code of matrix that shows similarities and differences of the interview results.
Reflection to assignment: This assignment helped me to understand the difference between quantitative and qualitative research. It also helped me to understand the different perceptions of food and nutrition among diverse people.
Relevance to the profession: Cultural competency is a very important component of the Nutritional profession.
