Assignment Title: Esophageal Cancer Treated with Surgery and Radiation
What I Learned: In this assignment I learned how to research a specific disease state and the medical nutrition therapy using the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics evidence analysis library. I learned how to apply the research to a case study using the nutrition care process and practicing ADIME and SOAP notes.
Reflection to assignment: This assignment helped me to see the extensive research that is done in treating specific disease states, and how important nutrition is in the healing process.
Relevance to the profession: Medical Nutrition Therapy is an important component in the Nutrition and Food Science Profession. It is greatly used in the clinical setting where nutrition plays an important role in healing.
